And mission is to provide uninterrupted supply As a part of Power Reform Process, Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB), the promoting body, has been un-bundled effective from 1st April, 2005, in to separate seven Companies with functional resposibilities with complete autonomous operation for Accordingly, the distribution undertakings and functions of the Central Distribution Zone of the erstwhile GEB stand transfered to and vest in the Company effective from 1st April, 2005.

Qualification:

• Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant- IT): BCA/MCA or B.Sc./M. Sc in Computer Science or B.Com with PGDCA in Computer Science from a recognized University with 55% for General and 50% for SC,ST and SEBC candidates.

• Senior Manager (Legal): LLB or LLM with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University

• Assistant law officer: Bachelor degree in any discipline with 60% marks from a recognized University and LLB with 60% marks or Five years integrated course in Law with 60% marks.

• Security Watchman: 

10th  passed

Salary:

• Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant- IT): 

1st year : Rs.6500/-  

2nd year : Rs.7250/- 

3rd year : Rs.8000/- 

• Senior Manager (Legal): 

Rs. 50,000/- per month fixed (all inclusive) for the first year which shall be increased by 10% next year.

• Assistant law officer:

 Rs. 35,000 per month fixed (all inclusive) for the first year which shall be increased by 10% every year.

• Security Watchman: 

Rs.7300-17940 (D.A. as per the Central Government).
